Unbelievable! Jalen Suggs’ buzzer beater lifts Gonzaga over UCLA in thrilling OT game
This is one we’ll remember forever.
Saturday night’s Final Four game between No. 1 seed Gonzaga and No. 11 seed UCLA was the best game of this year’s NCAA Tournament and might go down as the greatest game in tournament history. The ending was a thriller.
Trailing by 2 points in the final 20 seconds of overtime, Johnny Juzang appeared to be sending the game to another extra period, after making a layup to tie the contest at 90-90 with 3.3 seconds to play.
But Jalen Suggs raced down the floor, launched a prayer and watched the ball bank through the basket to lift Gonzaga to a 93-90 win and advance to the championship game. It also keeps the Zags’ hopes of a perfect season alive.
