Justin Fields to throw for teams a second time before NFL Draft

Justin Fields already put up a banner Pro Day, but the star quarterback will reportedly run it back for NFL teams prior to the draft.
According to NFL insider Ian Rapoport, Fields’ second time throwing for NFL teams will be next week on April 14. Fields’ reasoning to throw for a second time appears to be at the request of some of the executives expected to be on hand.
The San Francisco 49ers made waves when GM John Lynch and head coach Kyle Shanahan bypassed Fields’ initial Pro Day to go watch Alabama QB Mac Jones and other Crimson Tide players in Tuscaloosa. That led many to speculate that the 49ers were targeting Jones at No. 3 after trading into the slot with the Miami Dolphins.
However, it sounds more like due diligence on the part of San Francisco with Lynch and Shanahan expected to see Fields in person next week. Here is Rapoport’s full report:
Ohio State QB Justin Fields will throw for NFL teams again on April 14… and this time, #49ers coach Kyle Shanahan and GM John Lynch are expected to attend. Both were in Tuscaloosa watching #Bama QB Mac Jones (and others) while Fields had his first Pro Day.

Is Fields going to be headed to San Francisco with the third overall pick?
