Tom Brady is the most decorated quarterback in NFL history. Winning seven Super Bowls and playing in three more is a feat unmatched by anyone else at the position in the sport.

And yet, Brady is in his mid-40s and still has no plan to retire from the game. He recently signed a contract extension to stay with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after leading the organization to a Super Bowl title in his first year.

Speaking on Good Morning America, Brady was asked about his desire to play. And he gave a pretty direct answer and what continues to motivate him even after two decades in the NFL.

“I still want to play,” Brady said. “I’ve got a little sickness in my that just wants to throw a freakin’ spiral.”

Many of the great quarterbacks Brady spent his career competing against have already retired. Peyton Manning, Eli Manning, Brett Favre, Drew Brees and many others have called it a career in professional football.

But Brady is still looking to add to his trophy case at home and continue to pursue more Super Bowl rings.

Based on those remarks, who knows when Brady will retire. As long as he’s winning Super Bowls hand finding success, he probably won’t back down.
