Remember when Michigan State’s secondary was known as the “no fly zone”?
Yeah, that seems like a long time ago. Especially after Northwestern’s Clayton Thorson found Flynn Nagel wide open for this 57-yard TD pass to give the Wildcats a two-score lead on the road:
This came on Northwestern’s first possession of the second half. It was a four-play, 75-yard drive that took just 1:30. It was the first time this season that Thorson and Nagel have hooked up for a TD.
