No B1G player who participated in this year’s pro days before the 2021 NFL Draft posted a faster time in the 40-yard dash than former Purdue wide receiver Rondale Moore. He was the only player in the conference to crack the Top 10.

The NFL recently posted the fastest 40 times from pro days this spring, now that they’ve come to an end. Moore posted the fastest time in the league at 4.31 seconds. That pace ranked No. 3 among all college prospects participating in pro days.

Auburn wide receiver Anthony Schwartz had the fastest time with a blazing 4.25 time. Georgia cornerback Eric Stokes was No. 2, coming in at 4.29. Below is the complete Top 10 from the NFL:

Purdue fans only got to see one full season of Moore, his freshman campaign in 2018. That year, the Boilermaker star was named the B1G Freshman of the Year and Receiver of the Year after leading the conference in receptions, receiving yards and touchdown catches.

Moore’s final two years at Purdue were riddled with injuries and he didn’t play a complete season in 2019 or 2020.

Still, Moore looks prepared to head to the next level and begin his NFL career. We’ll see where he falls in the 2021 NFL Draft, scheduled for Thursday, April 29 through Saturday, May 1.
