The best player in high school basketball will announce his college decision on Monday afternoon.
That, of course, is Chet Holmgren, the 7-foot Minnesota native who is one of the highest-rated basketball prospects in recent memory.

Holmgren is considering three Big Ten schools: Michigan, Ohio State and his hometown Minnesota Gophers.
According to 247Sports Composite rankings, he’s the No. 1 overall player in the 2021 class. Listed at 7-foot, 190 pounds, Holmgren has offers from every major program in the country.
The current highest-rated recruit that’s committed to a Big Ten school is Caleb Houstan, who is headed to Michigan. Houstan is No. 8 overall, according to 247Sports Composite rankings.

Per 247Sports’ crystal ball projections, Gonzaga is the favorite to land the talented big man.
His announcement is at 12 p.m. ET on Monday.
