One of the best players in the 2022 basketball recruiting class has narrowed his list down to 11 options. Two B1G programs are still in consideration.
This weekend, 5-star center and the country’s No. 2 overall prospect Jalen Duren in the 2022 cycle released his list of Top 11 choices. Michigan and Penn State were the two B1G programs to make the cut for the 6-foot-10 Florida native.
Other schools still in the mix are Villanova, Miami, Auburn, Alabama, Kentucky, UCLA and Memphis. Duren is also considering the National Basketball League (NBL) and the NBA G-League.

Per 247Sports, Duren is listed as the No. 1 center in the 2022 recruiting class and the No. 2 overall player in the cycle. He’s considered to be a future first-round pick in the NBA Draft and would likely be a lottery selection.
Currently, Penn State has just one player committed in the 2022 class, 5-foot-10 point guard and 3-star prospect Sonny Johnson Jr. Michigan does not have any verbal commitments at this time.
