Ohio State has made a new staff hire.
Monday, former NFL linebacker and Boston College special teams coordinator Ricky Brown announced via Twitter that he is joining Ryan Day’s staff in Columbus. He will be a special teams quality control coach for the Buckeyes for the upcoming season.
Brown has worked in college football since 2014, when he was a quality control coach for the defense at USC for two seasons. He then took a job at Boston College, his alma mater, as the director of football initiatives in 2016. From 2017-19, he served as the special teams coordinator and assistant linebackers coach for the Eagles.
