How every first-round pick of the NFL Draft was rated as a high school recruit
The first night of the NFL Draft is in the books.
On Thursday evening, 32 former college stars heard their names called during football’s biggest offseason event. It was a life-altering moment for so many, which is what makes the NFL Draft so special.
Now that we know who all was selected in the first round of this year’s draft, we decided to take a look back at how all 32 of those players were graded as high school prospects. All rankings come via 247Sports’ Composite Rankings.
Here’s a quick breakdown by star ratings:
- 5-stars: 7
- 4-stars: 10
- 3-stars: 14
- 2-stars: 1
- 0 stars: 0
There were a large number of 3-star prospects to get drafted in this year’s NFL Draft and even one 2-star was picked. The 4-stars made up 10 selections while the 5-star total was at 7.
