Getting selected in the NFL Draft is a life-changing moment for everyone. A lot of times, you can tell just how much it means to so many former college stars.
That was the case in Trey Sermon’s home on Friday night. The former Ohio State running back was taken in the third round of this year’s draft, selected by the San Francisco 49ers. When his name was called, Sermon couldn’t hide his emotion.
Below is the video of the reaction from Friday night:

Just another reason why the NFL Draft is the premier offseason event in football.
Sermon’s big postseason at Ohio State helped catapult his draft stock. He piled up 331 rushing yards and scored 2 touchdowns in Ohio State’s 22-10 win over Northwestern in the B1G Championship Game. In the Sugar Bowl victory against Clemson, Sermon rushed for 193 yards, had 61 receiving yards and scored another touchdown to help lead the Buckeyes to the national championship.
