Nick Saban isn’t one to get too involved in trash talk, but he couldn’t help himself this time. And his response to a recent comment from Jimbo Fisher is going viral.
Recently, Fisher, who is the head coach at Texas A&M, took a playful shot at his former boss, saying the Aggies are “going to beat (Saban’s) ass when he’s there, don’t worry.” That, of course, got plenty of attention across the college football world.
None of Saban’s former assistant coaches have ever defeated him as a head coach.

On Thursday, Saban was asked for a response on Fisher’s comment. He hadn’t heard about it, but when he was told what the Texas A&M head coach said, the reaction was priceless.
“In golf?” Saban responded.
Below is the clip:
"In golf?" *laughs* "Is that what he was talking about? In football? 🤣

Fisher has been at Texas A&M for three seasons and is 0-3 against the Crimson Tide. Even though he led Florida State to a national championship in 2013 — the final year of the BCS system — taking down his old boss is one obstacle he hasn’t overcome yet.
Saban plans to keep it that way.
