The heart of summer is upon us as B1G Media Days are less than two weeks around the corner. That means fall training camps – and the unofficial start to the 2022 college football season – are quickly coming.

With that in mind, a number of publications are releasing their preseason lists for a number of awards. That includes preseason All-America teams. On Friday, Sporting News dropped their first and second team All-American selections heading into the season with some B1G power included.

After a dramatic freshman season with over 1,500 yards of offense, Ohio State’s TreVeyon Henderson was included on the first-team offense with big expectations. Teammate Jaxon Smith-Njigba was also featured on the first-team offense.

On the first-team defense, Iowa linebacker Jack Campbell was featured after posting 140 tackles in 2021. Teammate Riley Moss – who had 4 interceptions in 2021 – also made the cut.
