The B1G is having an incredible season this year, as there are 4 teams that are in a great position to make the College Football Playoff. For that to happen, teams have to have some great players.

PFF, all throughout the season, grades and ranks players all across the country. They grade players by positions, as well as grade. They just came out with their final grades for true freshman, and the conference is represented by the top 2 graded freshmen in the country.

The highest-ranked freshman in the country is defensive back Koi Perich, who is having a terrific season at Minnesota. On the season, he has 34 tackles and 5 interceptions. In the Golden Gophers’ last game against Penn State, he had 13 tackles. In a win against UCLA earlier in the season, he had 2 interceptions.

Ohio State WR Jeremiah Smith is right behind Perich, and he is putting together an equally as impressive season. The freshman phenom receiver has 52 catches for 899 yards and 9 touchdowns. He teams up with Emeka Egbuka to form arguably the best receiving duo in all of college football. He is a matchup nightmare everywhere on the field, and has a chance to be the best receiver to ever play in Columbus.
