Action Network’s Brett McMurphy made a post on Twitter detailing the schools with the longest current home winning streaks. 2 B1G programs are among the schools with the best records at home.

To no one’s surprise, Ohio State and Michigan have the longest home win streaks in the B1G. “The Big House” and “The Horseshoe” are extremely tough places to play at for opposing teams when at full capacity.

Michigan has a home win streak of 12 in a row, while Ohio State is just behind them with 11 consecutive home wins. Clemson leads the nation in that stat with 37 home wins in a row.

The Wolverines will have a bye week before defending their home win streak against in-state rival Michigan State. Ohio State plays Iowa in Columbus with the last meeting taking place in 2017.

Something to watch will of course be this year’s version of the Ohio State-Michigan rivalry, but maybe for a different reason this time with it being played in Columbus.

We’ll see if the Buckeyes can keep the home win streak alive against the Wolverines at the end of the regular season.
