That list includes North Carolina, Texas, Arizona, Oklahoma State, and George Mason, along with Minnesota and Illinois out of the B1G.

Garcia was a four-star member of the 2020 recruiting class and the No. 37 prospect nationally according to the 247 Sports Composite Rankings. Garcia played his high school ball in Prior Lake, Minnesota, and it will be interesting to see if a return to Minnesota is in the cards.
As a freshman, Garcia started 27 games for the Golden Eagles, averaging 13 points and 6.6 rebounds while shooting 48% from the floor and 36% from three-point range. He posted three double-doubles and scored a career-high 28 points in a loss against Villanova.
