Walker is also a strong candidate for the Heisman Trophy and has been a big part of Michigan State being 9-1 this season.
Through those 10 games, Walker has 1,473 yards and 17 touchdowns on 227 carries. In 4 of his last 5 games, he’s rushed for at least 136 yards or more. He also has 9 touchdowns in these last 5 games as well.
For Henderson, he’s been a revelation as a freshman and has 7 touchdowns in his last 5 games. He also has 1,035 yards on the ground along with 14 touchdowns on 141 carries.
The finalists will be announced at a later date and it’s highly likely both Henderson and Walker will be on that list.
