2 B1G Stars land on PFF's Team of the Week following Week 5

Coming out of the weekend, Pro Football Focus has awarded its National Team of the Week honors with 2 B1G stars recognized. Illinois OL Vederian Lowe and Michigan Edge Aidan Hutchinson were the recipients. Hutchinson was also recognized as the Defensive Player of the Week by PFF.

Hutchinson was a dominant force yet again for a Michigan defense that shut down Wisconsin. According to PFF, Hutchinson won on 26.3% of pass-rush reps with a positive grade against the run on over a quarter of his snaps in run defense. He remains one of the top-graded players in the nation and is boosting his NFL Draft stock in a serious way.
Lowe helped pave the way for a dominant effort by running back Chase Brown as Brown rolled to 257 rushing yards against Charlotte. Lowe’s work upfront was so impressive he pulled in the highest grade for an offensive lineman from PFF for Week 5:
