The top of the college football world had quite the shakeup on Saturday when top-ranked Clemson fell to Notre Dame in double overtime.

That loss is going to cause shakeups in many college football rankings and oddsmaking. That included ESPN’s Playoff Predictor.

One thing that surely didn’t change is the fact that Wisconsin and Ohio State still appear to be the favorites to come out of the Big Ten and make it to the playoff.

The Buckeyes have clearly made their case through three games as they’ve dominated their opponents. The biggest obstacles in their way appear to be Indiana and Wisconsin. Ohio State can end the Hoosiers’ chances during the regular season.

As for the Badgers, that matchup wouldn’t come until the Big Ten championship game.

Speaking of Bucky, Wisconsin is an interesting case. The Badgers haven’t played in two weeks due to a COVID-19 outbreak in the program. As of now, Wisconsin is set to return to action on Saturday against Michigan. But if the Badgers do end up missing any more games, they will not qualify for the Big Ten West title.

Basically, the Big Ten’s CFP situation is about the same as it was a week ago.
