The NFL decided to crack down on various penalties on Saturday. Fines were issued to players and teams around the league.

Other than fines for faking injuries, the NFL also reprimanded some players for unsportsmanlike conduct penalties in Week 13. Among those fined were two former B1G players in Ezekiel Elliott (Ohio State) and Peyton Hendershot (Indiana).

Elliott had to pay a fine of $13,261 and Hendershot owed $3,944 per NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero. Other players who got fined were A.J. Brown, Ja’Marr Chase, Dak Prescott, Mac Jones, D.K. Metcalf, Bradley Chubb, Jon Feliciano, and Alexander Mattison.

One example of the penalties was when Mattison scored a touchdown and celebrated by pretending to be injured.

Elliott and Hendershot helped the Dallas Cowboys knock off the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday Night Football. Dallas blew out Indianapolis at AT&T Stadium 54-19.

Elliott and Hendershot will be gearing up to face the Houston Texans next. Dallas and Houston kick off at 1 p.m. ET on FOX.
