The race to the College World Series is just about wrapped up. Already, 6 tickets to Omaha have been punched with a pair of Game 3’s set for Monday.

Those final matchups involve Auburn vs. Oregon State in the Corvallis Super Regional and UConn vs. Stanford in the Stanford Super Regional. Winners of Monday’s games will advance to the field of 8 for the CWS.

The big news over the weekend was No. 1 overall seed Tennessee getting eliminated in the Knoxville Super Regional. Notre Dame took down the Volunteers with wins on Friday and Sunday to advance to Omaha.

The first round of the College World Series will be announced Monday afternoon. Those games will be played Friday, June 17 and Saturday, June 18.
