It’s been Lucky 7s in Vegas for the B1G through the first three rounds of the 2022 NFL Draft. In every round, the conference has produced 7 selections.
Friday night, the B1G started out with a strong second round, having 7 more players taken after seeing 7 stars picked in Thursday night’s opening round. It was a sluggish start to the third round but the conference closed out on a high night.
Ohio State offensive lineman Nicholas Petit-Frere was the first player taken in the third round out of the B1G, landing with the Tennessee Titans at the No. 69 overall pick. Another player from the league wasn’t selected until Maryland safety Nick Cross was taken by the Indianapolis Colts at No. 96.
Through three rounds, the B1G has seen 21 players taken and 11 schools have had at least one player selected. Here’s a recap of Round 3 from Vegas:
