Bufkin is expected to hear his name called first amongst that trio. A late riser up draft boards, the former Michigan star is well-regarded for his scoring and defense.
Hood-Schifino has also been rising up draft boards late in this process. He could hear his name called late in the lottery as well, but is projected to be picked somewhere in the teens.
Howard is the most dynamic scorer of the bunch, but could slide outside the lottery due to concerns over his defense. However, he’s one of the top shooters in the class and is considered a lock to be picked at some point in the first round.
The 2023 NBA Draft will begin at 8 p.m. ET on Thursday night.
