The 2023 NBA Draft is right around the corner with the order solidified via the NBA Draft Lottery.
At the top of the board, the San Antonio Spurs won the lottery with the first overall pick in the draft. Barring a drastic change of events, the Spurs are widely expected to select France phenom Victor Wembanyama as the No. 1 overall pick. Wembanyama — a 7-foot-4 big man — is widely praised as a generational talent due to his size and skill.
In terms of the rest of the draft, CBS Sports analyst Gary Parrish updated his mock draft on Monday. Parrish has Indiana’s Jalen Hood-Schifino as the B1G’s lone top-10 pick at No. 8.
Overall, Parrish has 5 B1G stars coming out in the first round, including a pair of Michigan stars:
- No. 8 Washington Wizards — Jalen Hood-Schifino, PG, Indiana
- No. 13 Toronto Raptors — Jett Howard, SG, Michigan
- No. 17 Los Angeles Lakers — Brice Sensabaugh, SF, Ohio State
- No. 19 Golden State Warriors — Kobe Bufkin, SG, Michigan
- No. 23 Portland Trail Blazers — Kris Murray, PF, Iowa
