2023 recruiting is still a hot topic, even on a day with two B1G games on the schedule.

It is the future, after all. Some B1G schools fell in the rankings, some stayed the same and some raised their marks since August.

These recruits are about to see their potential programs in action. Here’s where every B1G program ranks on 247Sports’ composite team rankings entering September:

  • No. 6 – Ohio State
  • No. 12 – Penn State
  • No. 23 – Michigan State
  • No. 25 – Northwestern
  • No. 27– Iowa
  • No. 28 – Michigan
  • No. 34 – Purdue
  • No. 36 – Minnesota
  • No. 37 – Nebraska
  • No. 42 – Maryland
  • No. 46 – Rutgers
  • No. 53 – Wisconsin
  • No. 57 – Illinois
  • No. 79 – Indiana

Minnesota and Michigan State each rose four spots from last month, with Wisconsin dropping six. Ohio State fell from No. 2 to No. 6 in the rankings, while Northwestern took a five spot drop from No. 20 to No. 25.

Does anything surprise you out of this list?
