There is still about a month or so before the 2023 college football season, but that won’t stop people from making mock drafts. ESPN’s Jordan Reid released one on Thursday.

Based on Reid’s projections, there will be a lot of B1G talent taken in the first round. A total of 10 B1G players appeared on his latest mock draft:

  • No. 2 — Marvin Harrison Jr., WR, Ohio State — Arizona Cardinals
  • No. 4 — Olu Fashanu, OT, Penn State — Indianapolis Colts
  • No. 11 — Emeka Egbuka, WR, Ohio State — Chicago Bears
  • No. 16 — J.T. Tuimoloau, EDGE, Ohio State — Denver Broncos
  • No. 17 — Michael Hall Jr., DT, Ohio State — Houston Texans
  • No. 18 — Donovan Jackson, G, Ohio State — Miami Dolphins
  • No. 19 — Jer’Zahn Newton, DT, Illinois — Seattle Seahawks
  • No. 21 — Chop Robinson, EDGE, Penn State — Minnesota Vikings
  • No. 22 — Kris Jenkins, DT, Michigan — Los Angeles Chargers
  • No. 25 — Kalen King, CB, Penn State — Detroit Lions

If what Reid predicts comes true, then the B1G will end the SEC’s streak of producing the most first round talent.

The 2024 NFL Draft will be held in Detroit, Michigan from April 25-27
