College football season is almost here.

The football, of course, is the main attraction. However, when it comes to tailgating, that aspect is the best part of football season to some.

The food, the atmosphere, the fun. It’s all awesome.

Jordan James over at 247Sports compiled a list of his top 10 tailgating locations ahead of the college football season. Two B1G locations made the list:

6. Michigan

“Michigan Stadium will be the place to be this fall. Army, which won 11 games last season, comes to Ann Arbor in Week 2. The Wolverines will also host Notre Dame before visits by arch rivals Michigan State and Ohio State.”

7. Nebraska

“Fans in Lincoln are optimistic entering the second year under head coach Scott Frost, so Cornhuskers fans should bring good energy to this season’s tailgates surrounding Memorial Stadium. The home schedule includes Big Ten West Division contenders Northwestern, Wisconsin and Iowa. Expect a lively environment when Ohio State comes to town on Sept. 28. It will be just the third trip to Nebraska all time for the Buckeyes.”

Michigan and Nebraska both have lofty expectations this season. Many believe the Wolverines are primed to win the Big Ten, while some think the Huskers will not only win the B1G West, but push Michigan in the Big Ten Championship.

Regardless of what happens on the field, Ann Arbor and Lincoln will be great destinations to hang out at prior to kickoff.
