3 B1G players earn NFL Player of the Month honors for October
The NFL announced its Players of the Month after its October action and the B1G is well represented.
At running back, Jonathan Taylor got the nod for AFC Offensive Player of the Month after basically putting the Colts on his back for all their games. Taylor finished with 478 total rushing yards and 195 receiving yards, plus 7 total touchdowns.

De’Vondre Campbell of the Green Bay Packers got the NFC’s Defensive Player of the Month. He recorded 45 total tackles, 3 tackles for loss, 2 forced fumbles, and 1 interception.
Punter Blake Gillikin of the New Orleans Saints was named the NFC’s Special Teams Player of the Month. He finished with 17 punts, 10 of which were downed inside the 20-yard line, and averaged nearly 47 yards per punt.

All 3 players were big reasons why their teams saw a lot of success and it’ll be interesting to see if they can keep that going for November.
