3 B1G players named to ESPN’s preseason All-America team

There are a ton of talented players from the B1G heading into the 2019 college football season. ESPN, however, is impressed most with three names.

On Monday, the four-letter sports network released its preseason All-America team for the upcoming campaign. The reveal comes less than a week before the first games of the season are played.

The B1G had two offensive players and one defensive player make the All-America team this preseason. Here’s a look at the three players included:

  • RB: Jonathan Taylor, Wisconsin
  • AP: Rondale Moore, Purdue
  • DE: Chase Young, Ohio State

ESPN’s list contained plenty of SEC names, as well as a slew of talent from Clemson. Here’s a breakdown of what the All-America team looked like from a conference breakdown:

  • SEC — 11
  • ACC — 6
  • Pac-12 — 3
  • B1G — 3
  • Big 12 — 3
