Three B1G schools dominated attendance for the 2021 season, according to a recent post from Pick Six Previews.

During the 2021 season, only 5 schools reached over 100% capacity of their stadium limits for the entire year. Three of those programs are in the B1G.

Per Pick Six Previews, Nebraska, Michigan and Penn State were the three B1G teams that hit that mark for the entirety of the 2021 season. Utah (Pac-12) and Georgia (SEC) were the only other schools to achieve that impressive feat for the year.

So much for that “it just means more” slogan, right?

When it comes to the next five closes to stadium capacity, Purdue was near the top at 98% in attendance. Iowa State was at 99%. Baylor, Auburn and Appalachian were also at 98%.

The B1G typically has strong attendance figures each year. Clearly, fans from around the conference were excited to get back into stadiums after being barred in 2020.
