B1G country showed out this spring.

On3Sports revealed the top 12 attendance numbers for spring football scrimmages across the country, and 3 B1G schools led the way in the top 3.

The Buckeyes far outdid every other Power 5 program, seeing 75, 122 fans in attendance. Penn State finished 2nd with 68,000 fans. Nebraska, hopeful as ever under the new leadership of Matt Rhule, packed the stands with 66,045 fans.

Ohio State, Nebraska and Penn State were the only B1G schools to crack the top 12. They were also 3 of just 9 schools to eclipse 50,000 fans in attendance.

Let’s wheel back around to Ohio State’s absurd number of over 75,000 fans. That outdoes most college programs attendance numbers for a regular season game!

But it isn’t hard to see why fans are excited. Sure, gone are some important members of the offensive line and CJ Stroud, but a pair of capable QBs in Kyle McCord and Devin Brown are set to run an offense returning all its RB production from last season, as well as perhaps the top wide receiver in college football, Marvin Harrison Jr.

One thing these numbers have proved more than anything. You can never doubt the passion of B1G fans.
