The B1G had a big week full of big performances in Week 3. Three B1G players were able to find themselves on Pro Football Focus’ Team of the Week.

Iowa center Tyler Linderbaum and right guard Conner Colby were on the offensive team, while Northwestern cornerback A.J. Hampton finds himself on the defensive team.

No. 5 Iowa took care of business at home against Kent State 30-7. The offense of Iowa accounted for 21 first downs and 418 total yards. Of those 418 yards, the Hawkeyes ran the ball 38 times for 206 yards for an average of 5.4 yards per carry. Linderbaum and Colby were the leading efficient blockers for Iowa in the game.

Northwestern lost on the road to Duke 30-23 on Saturday. The defense of the Wildcats allowed 562 total yards offense from the Blue Devils. Northwestern allowed 350 passing yards on 32 completions for an average of 7.8 yards per completion. Hampton accounted for three total tackles and three pass breakups against Duke.

Among players omitted from the Team of the Week, Ohio State’s TreVeyon Henderson is a bit of a head-scratcher. Henderson rushed for nearly 300 yards against Tulsa and set a Buckeye freshman record in the process.
