There are a lot of really talented receivers returning to the college football field for the 2020 season, and according to ESPN, three of those come from the B1G.

Recently, ESPN released its list of the top 10 returning wide receivers in college football. Three B1G players were included on that list:

  • No. 3: Rashod Bateman, Minnesota
  • No. 5: Rondale Moore, Purdue
  • No. 10: Chris Olave, Ohio State

Bateman sits as the highest-ranked B1G receiver on ESPN’s list after finishing as the league’s second-leading receiver last year. He was second behind only his teammate Tyler Johnson.

Last season, Bateman hauled in 60 catches for 1,219 yards and 11 touchdowns, helping lead the Gophers to an 11-2 record. The sophomore also made several highlight-reel catches throughout the year.

Moore is a former All-American, receiving the honor as a true freshman in 2018. Last year, however, Moore’s season was cut short after sustaining a season-ending injury in the B1G opener against Minnesota. In Moore’s freshman season, he led the conference in receiving with 1,258 yards and 12 touchdown grabs.

Olave is an incredible talent on a roster filled with outstanding athletes. Still, the Buckeye receiver made a name for himself last fall, totaling 849 yards and 12 touchdowns, leading Ohio State in both categories. The Bucks finished the year 13-1.
