3 former B1G basketball players receive invites to the 2022 NBA Draft green room
The 2022 NBA Draft is right around the corner, which means invites to the green room are starting to get sent out to players and their families. There are even some players from the B1G who have received invites so far per ESPN NBA Draft Analyst Jonathan Givony.
Iowa’s Keegan Murray, Purdue’s Jaden Ivey, and Wisconsin’s Johnny Davis have all gotten invites so far. The green room is where players who are projected to go in the 1st round will sit until their names are called by NBA commissioner Adam Silver. NBA teams vote on who they think will most likely be taken in the 1st round, and that’s how who gets the invites is determined.
Here is who else has gotten invites:
- Jabari Smith-Auburn
- Chet Holmgren-Gonzaga
- Paolo Banchero-Duke
- Shaedon Sharpe-Kentucky
- Dyson Daniels-Australia
- Ben Mathurin-Arizona
- A.J. Griffin-Duke
- Jalen Duren-Memphis
