3 from B1G in Dodd Trophy Coach of the Year midseason watch list
You don’t have to win every single game to be great.
Realistically, nobody wins all the time. It’s OK to have a blemish here and there. And when it came to the Dodd Trophy midseason watch list coming out, blemishes showed.
But, that’s OK. The Dodd Trophy listed 17 of the nation’s top coaches in its watch list and 3 names are from the Big Ten.
Here’s the list:
Introducing the 2018 Dodd Trophy Midseason Watch List.
The list features 1️⃣7️⃣ of the nation's top college football coaches, representing 6️⃣ conferences and Notre Dame.

Big Ten:
Wisconsin — Paul Chryst
Penn State — James Franklin
Michigan — Jim Harbaugh
The 3 teams above have something in common: they have all suffered one loss through 6 weeks of the college football season. Again, it’s OK.
According to the latest AP Poll, Franklin has Penn State at No. 8, while Jim Harbaugh and Paul Chryst are leading teams ranked No. 12 and No. 15 in the country, respectively.
