Iowa’s Riley Moss was also honored as PFF’s Defensive Player of the Week for his performance vs. Indiana. Moss grabbed two pick-6s against Hoosiers quarterback Michael Penix Jr. in that top-25 matchup on Saturday.
Moss was also honored as the national Defensive Player of the Week by the Walter Camp Award.
Michigan had two players on the list after the Wolverines took care of business vs. Western Michigan on Saturday. The win also represented a major milestone for Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh.
Although he didn’t make the first team, Ohio State defensive lineman Zach Harrison was honored by Pro Football Focus for making the “Game-changing Moment of the Week.”
With the Buckeyes trailing in the second half vs. Minnesota, Harrison sacked Gophers quarterback Tanner Morgan and caused a fumble. Haskell Garrett picked up it and returned for a touchdown. Ohio State never looked back, eventually winning 45-31.
