The B1G had some great running back play during Week 8 and it led to 4 running backs from the conference leading in most missed tackles forced.

According to Pro Football Focus, Hassan Haskins of Michigan led the way with 14 forced missed tackles, followed by Josh McCray of Illinois with 12, Blake Corum with 11, and Chase Brown with 10.

Brown may have been 4th in this statistic but he still finished with the most rushing yards out of those 4 players. He gashed the Nittany Lions defense for 223 yards on the ground with a touchdown as the Fighting Illini stunned the Nittany Lions in State College.

His backup in McCray also had one heck of a game as he finished with 142 yards on 24 carries. Penn State gave up over 350 yards combined on the ground to those 2 players, which is something that hadn’t happened all season to its defense.

Both Haskins and Corum were electric for Michigan against Northwestern. They had 4 combined rushing touchdowns with 229 combined rushing yards in the Wolverines 33-7 win.
