Pro Football Focus released its Team of the Week after the games that took place in Week 4. Four players from the B1G made the team per Anthony Treash of PFF.com.

Ohio State had the most players make the team. There was also a player from Penn State and Illinois that made the team as well. The defense stood out in the B1G in Week 4, as three out of the four players selected were on the defensive side of the ball.

Ohio State had center Luke Wypler and LB Tommy Eichenberg make the team. Penn State CB Kalen King and Illinois CB Jartavius Martin were the other players who made it.

The Buckeyes had dominant showing in their B1G opener against Wisconsin. Wypler had lead the way for RB TreVeyon Henderson, who finished the game with 121 yards rushing. Eichenberg was everywhere and had 14 total tackles and 2 tackles for loss.

Penn State got off to slow start in the first half against Central Michigan, but was able to shut down the offense in the second half. King was able to be a big part of that with his 2 fumble recoveries.

Martin had a takeaway in Illinois’ 31-0 shutout victory against Chattanooga. He had 1 interception and 4 total tackles on the day.

The B1G was well represented in Week 4.
