If you love great watching great wide receivers go to work, then the B1G is going to be the league for you in 2021. At least according to one sports outlet.

Pro Football Focus (PFF) recently released its list of the Top 10 wide receivers returning to college football for the 2021 season. There are four B1G players who received a mention, twice as many as any other conference in the sport.

Those four players are:

  • No. 1: Chris Olave, Ohio State
  • No. 2: Garrett Wilson, Ohio State
  • No. 9: David Bell, Purdue
  • No. 10: Ty Fryfogle, Indiana

Yes, Ohio State has the top two receivers in college football for the 2021 season, per PFF. Here’s the complete Top 10 list from PFF:

Olave and Wilson formed one of the best wide receiver tandems in college football last season. Olave totaled 729 yards and 7 touchdowns on 50 receptions while Wilson hauled in 43 catches for 723 yards and 6 touchdowns. Even without Justin Fields slinging passes next season, the Buckeyes should be in great shape in the passing attack with both guys back.

Bell was the B1G’s leader in yards per game last season, narrowly edging out Olave for the year. The Purdue receiver caught 53 passes for 625 yards and 8 touchdowns in 6 games, averaging 104.2 yards per contest.

Fryfogle had a breakout year at Indiana during the 2020 campaign, finishing the season with 721 yards and 7 touchdowns on 37 catches, posting a ridiculous 19.49 yards per catch average, good enough for third in the B1G. He also totaled 200 yards receiving in back-to-back games against Michigan State (200) and Ohio State (218).

All four of those receivers should be incredibly fun to watch next season.
