We now know who will be in New York City for the Heisman Trophy ceremony!

With the regular season and Championship Weekend wrapped up, the attention shifts to the award season before bowls get started. As fans are well aware, the Heisman is the most prestigious award in college football and is given annually to the most outstanding player in the country.

For 2019, a number of B1G stars began the year as potential candidates, but that list was whittled down to really four players from the conference. Ohio State’s Chase Young, J.K. Dobbins, and Justin Fields all have a legitimate case to be made for the award, along with Wisconsin’s Jonathan Taylor.

The finalists for the award were unveiled Monday evening on ESPN’s Monday Night Countdown. Here is the list of players that will be in New York City for the award ceremony:

  • QB Joe Burrow, LSU
  • QB Justin Fields, Ohio State
  • QB Jalen Hurts, Oklahoma
  • DE Chase Young, Ohio State
