A decision date is set for a heavily-recruited B1G target in the 2022 class.

Jaden Mangham announced on Sunday that he will be making a final decision on his recruitment on Aug. 1. He has released the six schools he’s still considering, four of which are in the B1G.

Mangham has Illinois, Nebraska, Michigan and Michigan State in his Top 6, as well as West Virginia and Georgia Tech outside the B1G. He narrowed his list down from 36 offers on the recruiting front.

247Sports has Mangham ranked as the No. 289 overall prospect in the 2022 class, earning him a 4-star rating. A native of Franklin, Michigan, he’s ranked as the No. 7 player out of the state.

During the 2020 season at Wylie E. Groves High School, Mangham played both wide receiver and defensive back for a team that reached the third round of the state playoffs. He also competes in track and field.

All four B1G programs would receive a nice bump by landing Mangham.
