One of the top centers in the 2022 recruiting class has narrowed his list of schools down to eight. Three of them are from the B1G.

Donovan Clingan, a 7-foot-1 center out of Bristol, Connecticut, released his Top 8 schools this week. The three B1G programs still in the mix for the 4-star talent are Michigan, Ohio State and Rutgers. Outside the conference, Georgetown, Notre Dame, Providence, Syracuse and UConn are still in consideration.

Clingan is ranked as the No. 42 overall player in the 2022 recruiting class, according to 247Sports. At the center position, he is listed as the No. 6 player. Below are some clips of what Clingan will bring to the college level:

Currently, Ohio State’s recruiting class ranks No. 1 nationally with three pledges in the 2022 cycle. The Buckeyes have verbal commitments from 4-star guards Roddy Gayle Jr. and Bruce Thornton, as well as 3-star guard Bowen Hardman.

Neither Michigan nor Rutgers have any recruits committed to the 2022 class at this time.
