A pair of schools from the B1G are still in consideration for a 4-star defensive end out of Orlando, Florida.

Zane Durant, a Top 350 prospect in the 2022 recruiting class, revealed his Top 6 schools on Thursday via Twitter. Penn State and Indiana out of the B1G are still in the mix, as well as Miami, Ole Miss, UCF and West Virginia.

Durant narrowed his list down to six after receiving 20 offers on the recruiting trail.

Per 247Sports, Durant ranks as the No. 341 overall prospect in the 2022 class, earning a 4-star rating. He’s also ranked as the No. 22 strong-side defensive end and is considered a Top 50 player out of Florida.

At Lake Nona High School last season, Durant piled up 40 tackles, 15.5 tackles for loss and 6.5 sacks. He was also credited with 2 forced fumbles, 2 fumble recoveries and scored a touchdown during the 2020 campaign.

During the 2019 season, He registered 28 stops with 7.5 tackles for loss and a sack.

Penn State currently owns the second-best recruiting class in the B1G, with 10 prospects verbally committed. The Nittany lines rank sixth nationally, having seven players with a 4-star rating.

Indiana has two players committed in the 2022 class, ranking No. 11 in the B1G and No. 54 nationally.
