A pair of B1G East foes are in the mix for a 4-star defensive lineman out of IMG Academy.

On 3 Sports reported on Tuesday that 4-star lineman Will Norman has narrowed down his list of options to 7 schools. Out of the B1G, Michigan and Penn State made the cut. Auburn, Florida, Florida State, LSU and Texas A&M were the other 5 programs to still be in consideration.

Norman is listed as a 6-foot-5, 290-pound defensive lineman, per 247Sports. According to the composite scores, he’s ranked as the No. 88 overall player in the 2023 recruiting class and is the No. 12 defensive line prospect.

Norman’s rise up the rankings is significant, as he didn’t play football until 2020. But with his size and frame, he will fit in perfectly along defensive lines at the college level.

Both Penn State and Michigan are off to hot starts with the 2023 recruiting class. The Nittany Lions have 7 verbal pledges and rank No. 5 nationally. The Wolverines also have 7 commitments and rank No. 8 in the country.
