4-star LB in 2021 class has an all-B1G Top 4
A 4-star linebacker has revealed his top four schools, all of which are in the B1G.
Jamari Buddin, a native of Belleville, Michigan told Rivals.com that the four schools he’s still considering are Penn State, Michigan State, Purdue and Minnesota. He plans to make his announcement on Friday, July 17 via social media.
Buddin is listed as the No. 304 overall prospect in the 2021 recruiting cycle. The 6-foot-2, 210-pound backer is ranked as the No. 21 outside linebacker in his cycle and is the No. 8 player out of Michigan, per 247Sports.
Long and lean. Looks good on the hoof but still needs to fill in. Plays bigger than listed weight. Hard hitter who takes on blocks with good leverage and physicality. Good lateral quickness and that allows him to be effective in coverage. Good blitzer who accelerates and runs hard as a close. Has to fill in and get stronger. Playmaker who can play inside or outside in college depending on how his body continues to develop.
Buddin had received 17 offers on the recruiting trail, but said he’s only considering the four schools mentioned at this time. He’ll be a huge addition to any of those four programs.
