Five B1G schools are still in consideration for one of the top 300 players in the 2021 recruiting class.

On Friday, four-star outside linebacker Jamari Buddin narrowed his list of schools down to seven, including several B1G programs. The Belleville, Michigan native included Michigan, Michigan State, Penn State, Purdue and Minnesota in his top seven schools right now. The two non-B1G programs are Boston College and Florida State.

According to 247Sports, Buddin is the No. 9 player from the state of Michigan and the No. 21 outside linebacker in this cycle. Overall, he’s listed as the No. 261 prospect in the class.

Michigan is listed as the favorite to land Buddin, according to 247Sports. With five B1G schools still in the mix, there’s a good chance the four-star prospect sticks around the Midwest, too.

Buddin would be a huge addition to any of those five B1G programs, and would provide a significant boost to one team’s 2021 recruiting class.
