One of the best receivers in the 2023 class has released his Top 10 schools. Plenty of B1G teams are still in the mix for his commitment.
Carnell Tate, a 4-star wide receiver and Top 50 prospect in the 2023 class, narrowed his list of offers down to 10 interests this week. Four B1G programs are still in consideration: Illinois, Michigan, Ohio State and Penn State. The other six schools still in the mix are Florida State, LSU, Notre Dame, Ole Miss, Tennessee and Texas.
A total of 30 schools have offered Tate thus far. B1G teams to show interest but not make the Top 10 include Michigan State, Iowa, Minnesota and Purdue.

Tate, a Chicago native, is listed as a 6-foot-2, 185-pound receiver who ranks as the No. 6 player at his position and is the No. 42 overall talent in the 2023 class, per 247Sports Composite. During the 2019 season, he totaled 28 catches for 444 yards and 5 touchdowns in eight varsity games as a freshman.
Tate would be a significant addition to any of the B1G programs still in consideration for his pledge.
