Soon, we’ll learn where 4-star wide receiver Tay’shawn Trent will be playing college football.

The Eastpointe, Mich. native has set a commitment date for Wednesday, March 3. He has included three B1G teams among the finalists for his decision. He is considering Indiana, Michigan and Michigan State from the B1G and Kentucky and West Virginia.

According to 247Sports, Trent is listed as a 6-foot-4, 205-pound wide receiver. He’s ranked as one of the Top 10 players out of Michigan, coming in at No. 7. He’s also listed as the No. 40 wide receiver and the No. 281 player overall in the class.

During the recruiting process, Trent has received 15 offers. The schools he left out include Akron, Buffalo, Central Michigan, Cincinnati, Louisville, Penn State, Pitt, Syracuse, Toledo and West Virginia.

Michigan currently has six players committed in the 2022 class, ranking No. 3 in the B1G and No. 11 nationally. Michigan State has verbal pledges from three prospects, coming in at No. 7 in the B1G and No. 29 nationally.

Indiana does not have any players committed in the 2022 class.
