We’re just 2 weeks away from the 2023 NFL Draft. On Thursday, the NFL revealed that 17 players, including 5 B1G standouts, will be making the trip to Kansas City.

A trio of Ohio State players will represent the Buckeyes at this year’s draft. Standouts from Penn State and Illinois will also be on hand waiting to hear their names called.

  1. Paris Johnson Jr., OT, Ohio State
  2. Joey Porter Jr., CB, Penn State
  3. Jaxon Smith-Njigba, WR, Ohio State
  4. C.J. Stroud, QB, Ohio State
  5. Devon Witherspoon, CB, Illinois

The news cycle leading up to this year’s draft has largely focused on quarterbacks. The Carolina Panthers traded up for the No. 1 overall pick and are expected to take a QB.

OSU’s C.J. Stroud is considered one of the top 4 QB prospects along with the SEC trio of Will Levis (Kentucky, formerly Penn State), Anthony Richardson (Florida) and Bryce Young (Alabama) also attending the draft.

Round 1 of the 2023 NFL Draft begins at 8 p.m. ET on Thursday, April 27. Coverage will air on the NFL Network, ABC and ESPN. Rounds 2 and 3 will be held on April 28 (7 p.m. ET) and 4-7 on April 29 (noon ET).
