One of the top prospects in the 2023 recruiting class is still considering a pair of B1G schools.
Saturday, 5-star linebacker Jaiden Ausberry told On3 Recruits that he’s narrowed his list of options down to 10 programs. Out of the B1G, Ohio State and Michigan are still in the hunt. Other programs in the mix include Alabama, Florida, Georgia, LSU, Notre Dame, Texas, Texas A&M and USC.
A 6-foot, 195-pound prospect out of Baton Rouge, Ausberry is listed as the No. 2 linebacker in the 2023 class, per 247Sports Composite. He’s listed as the No. 30 overall talent of the cycle.

Ausberry has received 17 offers on the recruiting trail so far. There’s still a lot of time between now and when the linebacker will have to commit, but he’s trimmed his list of options down to some of the most elite programs in college football.
Right now, neither Ohio State nor Michigan have a pledge for the 2023 recruiting class. The Buckeyes currently own the nation’s top-ranked class of 2022 while the Wolverines sit at No. 11.
