National Signing Day is coming this week, with most of the remaining uncommitted prospects in the 2021 class making their final decision on where to play college football.

Most players take advantage of the Early Signing Period, putting pen to paper on the National Letter on Intent during the December window. But some prospects like to take more time to consider their options.

Six players ranked in the Top 100 of 247Sports’ Composite Rankings are waiting a bit longer to make their decision. Most will likely make an announcement on Wednesday, while some could potentially wait longer.

Here’s a look at those six Top 100 prospects, where they rank and where they’re most likely to sign:

JT Tuimoloau, 5-star DE (No. 3 overall)

Of the six players left in the Top 100, Tuimoloau is the most likely to sign with Ohio State, as 247Sports has a Crystal Ball projection listed at 100% in favor of the Buckeyes. But with offers from Alabama, Oregon, USC and plenty of other programs on the table, there’s still a chance he passes on the chance to go to Columbus.

LJ Johnson, 4-star RB (No. 44 overall)

The Texas native is likely to commit to an in-state program, with 247Sports’ Crystal Ball favoring Texas A&M. It seems that with Steve Sarkisian being named the head coach at Texas, the Longhorns may have a chance to land the talented 4-star running back, as well. Committing to a school outside the state seems unlikely for Johnson.

Raesjon Davis, 4-star LB (No. 48 overall)

The 4-star linebacker is likely to land at USC, passing on multiple offers from other Pac-12 and SEC offers during the recruiting cycle. Davis is ranked as the No. 4 outside linebacker in the 2021 recruiting class and several teams have tried to get the California native out of his home state. We’ll see if it works, or if USC wins the battle.

Terrion Arnold, 4-star S (No. 51 overall)

Arnold is a prospect that some experts can’t agree on, but it appears that the two schools battling for the 4-star safety are Alabama and Florida. The Gators were the most likely to land Arnold just a few weeks ago, but the Crimson Tide appear to be making a late push. Both schools are working hard to get a pledge from the nation’s No. 5 safety.

Tywone Malone, 4-star DT (No. 61 overall)

Is there a chance Greg Schiano makes a huge splash by keeping the 4-star defensive tackle and New Jersey native at home? Of course. But based on 247Sports’ Crystal Ball predictions, Malone appears to be trending towards Lane Kiffin and Ole Miss. Rutgers hasn’t been completely ruled out, but Ole Miss is the leader and Texas A&M, Tennessee and Florida State appear to be in the mix, as well.

Brian Thomas Jr., 4-star WR (No. 88 overall)

LSU’s wide receivers have received quite a bit of attention recently, so it makes sense that the nation’s No. 13 receiver in the 2021 class is strongly considering LSU. The Tigers are the favorite to land the No. 88 player in the cycle, and even if he doesn’t go to Baton Rouge, he’s unlikely to leave SEC country. Other teams being considered are Texas A&M, Alabama, Arkansas and Auburn.
